IFBA and Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia Partner to Strengthen Business Growth

A New Era of Collaboration

The International Food & Beverage Association (IFBA) and the Singapore Club Cambodia/Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (SCC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create greater opportunities for Singaporean businesses in Cambodia. This landmark partnership sets the foundation for business expansion, networking, and strategic growth in one of Southeast Asia’s most promising markets.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Andrew Tay, President of SCC, and Mr. Hai Poh Cheong, President and Founder of IFBA, at the prestigious Conrad Centennial Singapore. This event marked a significant milestone in strengthening economic ties and fostering collaboration between the two organisations.

Bridging Markets, Expanding Opportunities

As Cambodia’s economy continues to evolve, this partnership aims to equip businesses with insights, resources, and professional connections to navigate the local market successfully. By leveraging IFBA’s global network and SCC’s deep local expertise, this initiative serves as a bridge for businesses looking to scale their operations and establish a lasting presence in Cambodia.

By strengthening professional ties and facilitating strategic partnerships, IFBA and SCC aim to create tangible opportunities for businesses, including:

  • Facilitating Business Expansion – Connecting Singaporean entrepreneurs and industry leaders in Cambodia through IFBA’s network.
  • Enhancing Resource Mobilisation – Pooling financial, human, and logistical resources to drive impactful initiatives.
  • Promoting Transparency & Collaboration – Ensuring open communication to maximise operational efficiency and success.

Fostering Industry Growth – Identifying new investment opportunities and supporting the expansion of Singaporean businesses in Cambodia’s growing market.

A Commitment to Long-Term Success

This MOU takes effect immediately and will remain in place for an initial period of two years, with the option for renewal. Both IFBA and SCC are dedicated to ensuring that this collaboration delivers long-term value, economic development, and sustainable business growth for their members and stakeholders.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to support the growth and sustainability of businesses within the food and beverage industry worldwide,” said Mr. Hai Poh Cheong, President of IFBA. “By combining IFBA’s global network with SCC’s local expertise, we can create powerful opportunities for our members and the broader Singaporean business community in Cambodia.”

Mr. Andrew Tay, President of SCC, added: “This MOU represents a milestone in strengthening business relations between Singaporean enterprises and the Cambodian market. We are confident that this collaboration with IFBA will open doors for innovation, growth, and meaningful partnerships.”
